Organization’s Causes
At Lov8u Foundation, we believe in the power of love and community to create lasting change. Our first neighborhood pilot program in The Historic Commercial Center District stands as a testament to this belief and serves as a flagship model for our future endeavors.
In 2005, after years of neglect and decline, the Commercial Center District was deemed a blight and a tax burden by the county. Once a prestigious residential area and a thriving hub for retail and social activity, it had become a shadow of its former self. Yet, hope remained.
Paula Sadler, who recognized the problem and began the healing process through her intuitive abilities, natural talents, and experience. Her vision and mission laid the groundwork for a greater transformation beyond the Commercial Center.
Paula prayed and listened to her intuition, creating a vision and mission that resonated with the community. She formed an association of like-minded individuals, initiated physical clean-up efforts, and affirmed the neighborhood’s value through the power of affirmation and prayer. By developing an online presence, she unified over 200 businesses and property owners, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
Through persistent efforts, Paula engaged local government and agencies, sparking conversations that led to meaningful change. A rebranding campaign was launched, neighborhood meetings were held, and an art project was started. Open houses and festivals promoted art, music, local businesses, and nonprofit awareness. What was once on the brink of being lost to eminent domain was miraculously revived. Today, all of Las Vegas recognizes the value and historical significance of the neighborhood, now flourishing with arts, entertainment, and local entrepreneurship.
